All customers will get cover for a period equivalent to loan tenor or max upto 5 years. Age at entry is 20 - 65 years. *Conditions apply.
Group Personal Accident is also available for those customers who avail of a Commercial Vehicle Loan from SMFG India Credit and voluntarily opt for the coverage.
The coverage shall be against Death resulting due to accident, Permanent Total Disability and Accident hospitalization benefit irrespective of the loan amount
Death Resulting due to accident Cover
If the Death of the Insured Person results solely and directly from bodily injury, then the Sum Assured will be paid.
Accident Hospitalization Cover
This cover can be availed in case of hospitalization due to accident. Actual hospitalization expenses shall be reimbursed upto a maximum of Sum Insured mentioned against the Benefit.
Permanent Total Disability
Only if the disablement results in inability to remain gainfully employed. If injury shall within twelve months of its occurrence be the sole and direct cause of the total and irrecoverable loss of sight of both eyes, or of the actual loss by physical separation of two entire hands or two entire feet, or one entire hand and one entire foot, or of such loss of sight of one eye and such loss of one entire hand or one entire foot.
